At Modern Design Cabinetry, we think of how much we love our customers and the kitchens, bars, mudroom, laundry and bathroom cabinets we’ve loved designing, building, and installing for you over the past 32 years. Designing the space for YOU! You don’t have to follow the trends, follow your HEART! If you love a crazy orange sofa, use it, if you are coveting a geometric tile for your mudroom floor, go for it! Making selections that make you happy are what makes your space unique to you.
Fresh flowers on the table
Soft, cozy rugs over hardwood floors for added warmth and texture. (We just purchased a new shag rug in our living room and love it!)
Purchasing art on vacation. What a great way to bring a little bit of your trip home with you, whether it’s a handmade vase from a local market, a print by a local artist, earrings from a little shop you visited, or set of vintage dishes from a flea market, have fun and buy it!
Plants - I love having plants in my home and bringing the outside in. It adds color, texture and life to your space.
Lighting - Add a large statement piece to an entry or above a dining room table, small vintage sconces in a reading nook or library, multiple pendant lights down a hallway. You can use lighting to create so many moments throughout your home.
Photographs - I love having framed photographs of my family or art I have collected on trips. It reminds me of the wonderful experiences and all that I am grateful for.

Meet Scott Morris, our new Estimator. Scott joins us from Minnesota Supply Company where he worked for 20 years as an Estimator and Service Manager. He is “dad” to his kids Millie (8) and Mac (5) who keep him busy. Scott is a runner and also enjoys playing hockey, golf, watching football and attending Twins games.
